Downtown Dobbs Ferry Ideas

The following map presents a range of concepts to help guide future improvements within the downtown and waterfront areas. The ideas are intended to support the Village in prioritizing projects such as streetscape enhancements, trails, parking facilities, parks, and other public investments.

The concepts range from modest, short-term improvements to more ambitious, long-term opportunities. Some have been discussed within the community for many years, while others are newly proposed. Although these ideas have not been formally adopted or technically reviewed, they offer a vision for how the downtown and waterfront can evolve over time.

Key priorities reflected in the concepts include better integrating the Old Croton Aqueduct (OCA) into the downtown, enhancing the streetscape along Main and Cedar Streets, and improving connections among important community destinations and public spaces. Numbered locations on the map correspond to illustrative concepts and descriptions for each area.
